Scout Recon
From Undead Assault II Guide
The Scout Recon is a low-ranked MOS that is capable of filling in the roles of several other MOSes. Able to do minor healing on itself and others, temporary cloaking, and locate Umbrella soldiers and zombies from a distance, the Scout is a useful addition to groups in several game modes.

Skills
Basic Combat Training - Soldiers are taught basic skills necessary for their survival in the field, which includes marksmanship, reloading, cleaning and handling their weapon and physical fitness. Toggle Fire Mode to Burst available with level 2 training. Rifle Butt available with level 3 training. 10 movement speed (MS) bonus available with level 4 training. Toggling to Automatic Fire available with level 5 training.
Adds 6 bonus damage, 5 bonus life and reduces reload time by .6 seconds and unjam time by .15 seconds per level.
Frag Grenade - A Frag Grenade is an anti-personnel grenade that, upon detonation, blows shrapnel outward, which is usually fatal. Deals 600 damage to a radius around the target. The toss is not always accurate, especially at longer ranges.
WARNING: Explosives hurt allies.
Reconnaissance Abilities - SRs take extra training for reconnaissance. Each level boosts up the Sneak and Critical Shot abilities, and provides a 5 movement speed bonus. Field Camera learned at level 1, Binoculars learned at level 2, Laser Designator learned at level 3, and Flare Gun learned at level 4. At level 5, pings all Umbrella soldiers in view for your team.
Field Kit - Heals the target unit by 80 points over 25 seconds when used. Healing duration, energy cost and cooldown time all improve with levels. Cures open wounds at level 2 and cures poisons at level 3.
Tactics
Recommended Items
- Aim assist
- Stun rounds (Armor piercing gives no dmg bonus :/)
- Dragonskin Armor
- M400 GL or Batteries/Energy generator
- Saline/medkit
- Ammo case
- If you're not playing umbrella, I suggest leveling BCT to lvl 3 before anything, as rifle butting is very useful when you're facing small zombies.
- The recon abilities are a must; max it as fast as possible. The critical strike is nice because you have low dmg; proned with flare, designator, max BCT and NVG you can take gluttons in 2 or 3 shots.
- Get an M400 GL as fast as possible: it does more damage and is more accurate than your frag grenades. If you don't find any, get batteries or Energy gen.
- Your Field kit is useful if you don't want to waste your Salines/medkits. However the 2 main disavantages are that your hero must stop to do his spell animation, so if you're being chased by fast zombies you'll most likely die, or at least lose more health than you actually gain. It also doesn't cure the extremely annoying bone fractures.
- The Armor Piercing rounds doesn't give you any damage bonus (however it DOES give damage bonus to the Forward Observer) so get Stun rounds. Also get Aim Assist if your DM doesn't rush it. And remember, Nightvision adds a little damage, health and armor.
