Minis

Minis are non-hero units which are similar to a hero MOS, but weaker. They have some abilities from a MOS. Minis do not consume magazines (instead using mana for ammunition - reloading occurs when a mini reaches 0 mana), are able to jump but not sprint or go prone, and rifle- and shotgun-wielding minis can rifle butt. Minis have the same armour type as their corresponding MOS. Player-controlled minis spawn periodically on survival, recruit, normal, hard and insane (spawns often require a player's main unit to be dead), while NPC minis are present in all difficulties except competitive.

Universal Abilities

These are abilities all minis have:

  • Reload
  • Jump

MOSes

The following MOSes exist as minis. Minis' special abilities are included in parentheses. Abilities in yellow are only possessed by NPC minis.

  • Rifleman (Critical Shot, Saline Syringe, chance of Light Filters, chance of Frag. Grenade)
  • Machine Gunner (Critical Shot, Rapid Fire)
  • Detachment Commander* (Critical Shot, Saline Syringe, Frag. Grenade, Concentration, Light Filters)
  • Combat Engineer (Critical Shot, Cluster Missiles, Constriction Net, Repair)
  • Navy Corpsman (Blood Transfusion, Nano Injection, chance of Light Filters)
  • Designated Marksman (Critical Shot, Rapid Fire, Binoculars)
  • Flamethrower (Plasma Shield, Fuel Discharge, Napalm)
  • Assaultman (HEAT Missile, Saline Syringe)
  • Ghost* (Critical Shot, Permanent Invisibility, Ion Cannon)
  • Pilot - mission only, limited use (Critical Shot)

Minis marked with an asterisk wield assault rifles rather than their normal weapons.

The following MOSes do not exist as minis:


It is also possible (with a very low chance) to get an M3 Defender (tank) mini.
