Overview
Ammunition is a necessity to every soldier, without it there would be nothing for it to shoot. You can tell how much magazines there are by looking in lumber, but you can't tell how much rounds there in a magazine (unless you are using a mini).
Magazine Ratio
In the game when a ammunition item, a magazine or ammo case, is used green numbers appear using units head, that number is the amount add to their magazine(wood) slot. The ratio is for every one ammunition item used will receive a certain amount of magazines. For example 1:1 means that for ever one ammo item you use you get one magazine(wood).

Encumbrance
The ammunition has weight. Every magazine in the wood slot slows you down. Some MOSs are able to carry ammunition with less encumbrance.
